"Theater" is apt name for what is happening in Indian Politics. The multi dimension plot is no short of twists and turns, even Bollywood script writers will be proud of how this circus is surprising us everyday. I will refrain from giving judgmental view & will just try to look at what is happening from different dimensions.
1. The congress angle: " Once bitten twice shy" extremely embarrassed at how they handled Anna issue congress is not leaving any stone unturned even going to the extent of sending "Pranab Babu "himself to the airport to resolve issues with the Baba. Also according to me that works out well for them as finally the eyes are of Maran and no one is asking them the uncomfortable 2g questions anymore.
2. The BJP angle: After the fight between Mr Jaitley AND Mrs Swaraj.BJP can too work with media focusing somewhere else. Especially after the Sangh supporting Ramdev, BJP is left with no option, but to support Ramdev.
3.The ANNA and his team: The most confused lot, from baba going against,Anna on PM under Lokpal issue, Anna and his team are as confused as "child in a toy store".Anna might not have expected fast unto death to catch on so quickly, basically they like the cause but not sure about the person.
4. The Man himself: "Baba" is ruling the roost. With all the attention, concerned supporters he is literally asking for whatever he feels like, from death penalty for corruption,to banning 1000 rs notes,he feels he can break this government.
5. My view: Call me cynical but i have my doubts, i support the cause but somehow i dont get good vibes from a person that wants to start his own political party and travels in private jets. BJP i feel rather than supporting should look at themselves as primary opposition party it should be their duty to raise this issue not some baba. For Congress Trouble continues.....In my opinion the whole issue has become a superficial ego clash, its reducing the value to social workers that sit for such fasts. Whats with the secret meetings with baba??? people will argue its "Participative Politics" but Last time i heard "participative politics" it was from Naxals so i dont buy that logic.A country that is run by two fronts is always in trouble we dont havto look too far for examples
I have my popcorn ready, but want your opinion before i enjoy this further "Does cause justify means?"
